NACYS Child Care Centre



Centre chief executive officer Clare Dilliway said the damage was estimated at $1.5 million. "We won't have a childcare centre for some time because the inside has been absolutely gutted ... it's completely destroyed with everything in it," Ms Dilliway said.

In the early hours of September 25, 2012 NACYS childcare centre burned to the ground. Deliberately lit, it took fire fighters over an hour to extinguish it. But before the smoke had started to clear on the smoldering building, the community had started to rally.
